About

Aldana Vaccaro | Co-Founder

With over 25 years of experience as a Producer and Director in unscripted television and documentary film, I specialize in compelling global storytelling. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now based in New York City, I co-founded Dos Pandas in 2011. This award-winning production company has created over 600 hours of television for top networks across Latin America, including the series The Fires in Paris with Francis Mallmann on El Gourmet, a leading culinary network. My experience also extends to notable documentary features, having served as Assistant Director on Andrés Di Tella’s seminal work Fotografías. I also assisted him with the production of prestigious film festivals such as BAFICI and the Princeton Documentary Festival. Additionally, I co-produced a documentary feature on François Nars, directed by Lisa Immordino Vreeland.

In the US, I primarily work as a freelance producer, managing diverse, impactful projects shot across the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. I’ve collaborated directly with renowned directors and showrunners on significant productions for leading platforms like Amazon Sports (The Home Team: NY Jets), Disney+ (World War Shoe: Adidas vs Puma), Netflix (Strong Black Lens), The History Channel (Hunting History with Steven Rinella), and Vice (Black Market S2, hosted by Michael K. Williams). I’ve also supported campaigns for major brands and institutions such as Google.org, Carolina Herrera, Estée Lauder, NARS, Tiffany, Lehmann Maupin, Lévy Gorvy, and the Gilbert and George Centre.

Pink Panda, our US sister company to Dos Pandas, facilitates international projects and provides comprehensive services. This enhances our global footprint and ensures seamless cross-border collaborations, offering flexibility and a deep understanding of both local and international market demands for the content we produce.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Communication, a Filmmaking Certificate from NYU, and an MA in Media Studies from The New School, specializing in documentary. I’m passionate about crafting impactful narratives from concept to completion, always seeking new challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving media landscape.
