The Birds (Homage to Hitchcock)

Writer, Director, Producer, Editor

Documentary

An atmospheric short essay film, The Birds captures three evocative hours at the iconic Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY. Through almost empty amusement park grounds, vintage junk food stands, and the vast expanse of sand and sea, the film paints a portrait of this famous boardwalk destination in the quietude of autumn. Wind sweeps through the scene, accompanied by a myriad of birds that seemingly hover and occasionally “attack” the few adventurous souls who brave the beach during this off-season, creating a subtle homage to Hitchcock’s classic.
